3 Simple tricks to overcome Fear & anxiety instantly!!

Fear & anxiety often interfere with our ability to live more fulfilling lives. Fear is the critical voice in our head saying: “You’ll never succeed, so why try?”. Fear makes us listen to those voices and give up before we’ve even started.

SO, Here are 3 ways to overcome fear once and for all:


1-(5/9) breathing technique

Quicker, shallower breathing is the first trigger which catapults all the other anxious symptoms into action. So by controlling breathing you control all the other anxiety symptoms as well.

If you purposely breathe out longer than you breathe in, your body has to calm right down

So, if you start to feel fearful:

Take a breath in for quick count of 5 in your mind, Then slowly breathe out to the quick count of 9 in your mind.

If you do this for a minute or so, you’ll be amazed how quickly you’ve calmed down.

The numbers are up to you, just as long as the out-breath is longer than the in-breath.

2-Face your fear and make it a habit

When you feel afraid of something, you try to scape from it or ignore it, but what you should be doing is FACING IT!!

Not just once or twice, you keep facing it until you feel there is nothing to be afraid of.

So, Let’s say you are afraid of heights, go to a high building and stay there only for a couple of minutes,

The next day, go to the same place and stay there for 5 minutes.

Keep doing this until your fear is gone.

The more you keep on facing your fears, the more it gets easier and you start embracing it.


3-Talk positive to yourself

Before we do any action, we always think of the worse and that what prevent us from doing that thing which may change your life.

So instead of thinking about the worse, think about the benefits which you will get if you did this scary thing.

For example: if you are afraid of failure, ask yourself “ how good my life will be if I did it?  Will I be rich and happy if I succeed? How many  people did it before me? And what make them better than me?

Keep asking yourself these questions which will give you a positive energy to do what you are afraid to do.

When we let fear rule our lives, we miss out on opportunities and leads us to dismiss people and situations that could help us reach our goals, so don’t surrender to your fears and start fighting them!!
